Sinbad: The 5th Voyage

I've had the distinct honor of being picked as the one who will animate a stop motion animated scene in the film 'Sinbad The 5th Voyage'. As an animator who has seen the work of Ray Harryhausen as nothing less than miraculous for all of my 43 years, I can only hope to make a meager - if not foolish attempt, to fit my tiny feet into those giant shoes.

We stop motion animators refer to him as 'Uncle Ray' for very good reasons... he is family and he will always be larger than us, for all he has taught, inspired and mastered. I will do my best.

Now Available Through

I just recently completed the process of making In the Fall of Gravity available on Amazon and what was very exciting for me was the fact that Creatspace (where I set up the account) sent me an advance copy of the DVD to approve before they release it. It was the first time I ever got to see the disk with the actual disk art on it and it looks very cool!

So now I have my very own eStore on Amazon and I think people will trust buying the disk through Amazon more than Indieflix for being sure they will get a quality product for the buck$.

So here's the link.. https://www.createspace.com/265051

Just a note that I've updated the box on the right with a link to the page on Indieflix where you can now get In the Fall of Gravity on DVD as well as via direct download. I'll add more links and stuff as the release moves forward.

Thanks for all your support!

Another Contest On...

After entering that last contest (still running on BigStar.TV) I got all jazzed about it and then I saw a posting for this new contest on SuperU and just couldn't resist taking a shot at this one too... BUT! Not only is the prize bigger but the competition is stiffer as well. YIKES! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE mozy on over to this new contest and plunk your votes down on the table. (ratings once again)

Remember the same rules (mine) as in the other contest... Take your time perusing the films, consider them all for their strengths and weaknesses, (keeping a score card if necessary) be fair, be objective, be honest and then vote for ME! Please? OK then, just be honest... I won't cry. Here's the link...

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've established a permanent link on the right side of this page where you can contact me to get a copy of In the Fall of Gravity on DVD.(plus bonus stuff on the disk) Hopefully soon I will have it available to get through some sites where you can download it or buy the DVD from a pro distributor, but if you get it here you'll be getting a personally signed copy that will contain some extra stuff that will not be included with it if/when it goes through a distributor. Just click on the icon in the sidebar for more details. ->

'GRAVITY' Online For A Limited Time

I've entered my film 'In the fall of Gravity' into an online animation contest where you can see the whole film until the end of the contest. I NEED YOUR VOTES!

Is where you can find the contest. I had a hard time deciding to enter this because I do intend to try to sell the DVD of this film (with extras) and I worry about showing the whole film for free but, I'm willing to take the gamble. Especially because of the prize money I'll win if I win! (with your help?)

You don't really need a ticket but, in order to vote for the film you like best, you will need to register and give the films a 1-5 Star rating. (you don't need to watch all of them in order to vote) The player there is good and you can even make it full screen if you like.

You'll only be able to see this for a limited time so, make some popcorn, turn out the lights, click on the link below and you'll get to see all 11 minutes and 9 glorious seconds of In the Fall of Gravity!

(or paste it into your browser, the direct link doesn't seem to be working)
